R.P.M. Construction Corp. was incorporated in 1985, starting out in the basement of Rick and Mata Murphy’s home in Damascus, Maryland.

Rick has over 30 years of experience in the building industry. His close attention to detail and quality craftsmanship has enabled him to build his business to the premier level it currently holds.

They moved R.P.M. Construction to a larger office area in a nearby professional building in August 2001, and moved to the current location in August 2012.

Rick and Mata have built R.P.M. Construction to be one of the most respected framing contractors in the Mid-Atlantic Region with customers ranging from nationally acclaimed builders such as Bozzuto Homes, Clark Realty Builders and Harkins Builders to leading regional builders and developers. Projects range from 4,000 sq. ft. single family homes to 625,000 sq. ft. multi-family dwellings.
