RPM Construction Corp. was incorporated in 1985, starting out in the basement of Rick and Mata Murphy's home in Damascus, Maryland.
Rick has over 30 years of experience in the building industry. His close attention to detail and quality craftsmanship has enabled him to build his business to the premier level it currently holds.
They moved RPM Construction to a larger office area in a nearby professional building in August 2001 and moved to the current location in August 2012.
Rick and Mata have built RPM Construction to be one of the most respected framing contractors in the Mid-Atlantic Region with customers ranging from nationally acclaimed builders such as Bozzuto Homes, WCS Construction, Harkins Builders, The NRP Group and CBG Building Group to leading regional builders and developers. Projects range from 4,000 sq. ft. single family homes to 625,00 sq. ft. multi-family dwellings.
RPM offers quality turn key service for on-time deliveries for projects inside the beltway where space is extremely limited.
In addition to having all the necessary construction equipment including 19 forklifts, we also have the manpower. At the present time we have 250-300 men, including Exterior Trim Carpenters.
RPM Construction Corp. has built custom homes, townhouses, single family homes, condominiums and apartments.
Mr. Murphy like to contribute back to the community. He has donated his time, material and manpower to Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County, MD. This worthy charity assists in providing homes for deserving but struggling families in the area. Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing in the Maryland/DC area.
Rick makes a yearly holiday donation in the name of his family AND his family of employees to the Children's Inn at NIH in Bethesda, MD. The Children's Inn provides exceptional medical care for thousands of terminally ill children as well as housing for families to be near their children while their children are at the facility.
RPM Construction Crop. has been doing business as a Carpentry Contractor in the Maryland, Virginia and DC area since 1986 and has worked with many general contractors to produce top notch work.
RPM has been given numerous awards over the years. The Bozzuto Group has presented Mr. Murphy awards for Production since 2000 in addition to also receiving an award for providing the BEST SERVICE to their homeowners in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
